The Panoramic Terrace

The panoramic terrace of Castello di Rossino is a charming rooftop garden offering spectacular views over Lake Como. It overlooks the vineyard garden and the Castle’s rose garden, making it an enchanting and well-organised setting.

Weddings

This area is used for wedding ceremonies held at the Castle. When couples choose to celebrate their wedding in a church, the terrace becomes the perfect setting for a welcome aperitif, allowing guests to enjoy the unforgettable views of Lake Como. It can also be used for the wedding cake cutting.

Corporate & Private Events

This area is dedicated to welcome aperitifs, where guests are greeted and can mingle while enjoying the extraordinary panoramic views of Lake Como.

The Courtyard

The courtyard is the heart of the Castle, its ancient parade ground. Bordered by historic stone walls, it is a garden filled with atmosphere and a welcoming, timeless charm. From here, guests can access the Castle’s stone halls and the entire complex, as well as every other event space.

Weddings

Two of the four main stages of wedding receptions at the Castle take place in the courtyard: the welcome aperitif, featuring a rich selection of high-quality buffet stations, and the wedding cake cutting, accompanied by dessert buffets and a grand finale with spectacular music and emotions.

Corporate & Private Events

A versatile area ideal for aperitifs and buffet appetisers, which can also be used as a reception and registration area or, alternatively, for seated dining. It is also perfectly suited to product launches and other events requiring a particularly prestigious setting.

The Olive Grove

The Olive Grove is a beautiful green area overlooking a dense woodland, with views stretching southwards towards the Castle’s olive grove. In the background, four charming hamlets frame the River Adda, offering a glimpse of the landscapes made famous by Leonardo da Vinci.

Weddings

The Olive Grove is the ideal setting for the seated part of the wedding reception, offering a more private and intimate atmosphere for guests to enjoy the meal in the company of their loved ones. The Castle’s kitchen is located in a building adjacent to the garden, allowing freshly prepared dishes to be served directly from the chefs’ kitchens to the guests’ tables.

Corporate & Private Events

This is the area where business lunches, buffet receptions and gala dinners with table service are usually organised. It is also an ideal setting for team-building activities.

The Vineyard Park

The gentle hills on which the Castle stands were historically cultivated as vineyards. In recent years, the vineyard has been restored by planting new Merlot vines, producing excellent red and rosé wines renowned for their purity, which are featured in the prestigious IGT Terre Lariane wine classification.

Weddings

A relaxing area where guests can enjoy peaceful walks during the wedding reception.

Corporate & Private Events

This is a particularly suitable area for organising team-building activities.

Il castello antico è curato e ammobiliato alla perfezione nei suoi spazi interni ed esterni, con le montagne alle spalle a fare da sfondo maestoso e suggestivo a tutta la giornata. Castello di Rossino completely stole our hearts. We actually booked the venue before ever seeing it in person, purely based on the reviews and photographs, which felt like a huge leap of faith. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is absolutely timeless. Every part of it is beautifully maintained, and you can immediately see how much pride the team takes in looking after it. The gardens are stunning, and each space flows seamlessly into the next; from the Secret Garden ceremony area, to the courtyard for aperitivo, through to the Olive Tree Garden for dinner. The layout creates such a natural journey throughout the day. One of the things we loved most was that the venue isn’t overwhelmingly large. It comfortably accommodated our 115 guests without ever feeling crowded, yet it also kept everyone together. Guests weren’t disappearing between different parts of the day; they remained close enough to enjoy every moment together, which created such a wonderful atmosphere. As beautiful as the venue is during the day, it becomes even more magical after sunset. The lighting transforms the castle and gardens into something truly enchanting and incredibly romantic. The views are breathtaking. Sitting on the hillside overlooking Lake Como, the scenery creates the most spectacular backdrop for your ceremony and photographs. Every direction you look feels like a postcard. Another huge advantage is the value for money. Compared with many Lake Como venues, Castello di Rossino offers an incredible experience without the eye-watering price tag often associated with weddings in the area. You genuinely receive outstanding quality while still remaining relatively budget-friendly. The recommended suppliers were exceptional and worked seamlessly together. It’s clear that the venue and Lisa L. Weddings have built relationships with trusted professionals who genuinely care about creating an unforgettable experience. If you’re dreaming of a romantic garden wedding at a beautiful Italian castle with spectacular lake views, I cannot recommend Castello di Rossino highly enough.
